Artists Salon

Since 2018, Wendy and fellow writers Jennifer Haley and Lisa Kenner Grissom have hosted and curated the Brunswick Salon. Held in Wendy’s backyard in Atwater Village, this quarterly artists salon features literary, visual, performing, and musical artists – and really great tiki drinks.

Past artists include singer/songwriter Gabriel Gordon; visual artist Pehdro Cruz; writer/essayist Kelli Auerbach; L.A. Magazine columnist and author Chris Nichols and author/librarian Maureen Nichols; poet and ceremonialist Rachel Kann; visual artist Angela Singer; writer/memoirist Adrienne Crew; singer/songwriter Sean Oliu; visual artist Greg Chandler; writer/performer Deenah Vollmer; musician Chris Croft; and ukulele player Julia Maisel-Berick.
